It was July 26th, almost the end of July, and I was going to Walmart with my family, and it ain’t for shopping! That’s right! I was getting my second COVID-19 vaccine, because I already got my first dose on July 5. We got into the store and off we whent!

My dad had a talk with the Walmart Pharmacy worker, and after three-thousand-five-hundred-twenty-two hours (okay, maybe it didn’t take THAT long, but still!), it was time. I sat on the chair and I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After thirty seconds, a Walmart Pharmacy worker came and was carrying the vaccine. He put the bandage on me, and then gave me the vaccine.

It felt painless (probably because I ate a whole bag of Cheetoes before I went into the store😁)! After that, the Walmart Pharmacy worker then gave me a piece of paper. On it showed the outcome of the vaccine. Pain, redness, swelling, fever, headaches, and all that other stuff I don’t want you to know about! I felt okay (but I did feel a LITTLE light headed…). Anyway, because I am now fully vaccinated, I now can walk into buildings without wearing a mask! FREEDOM, BABY!

However… that’s not all of the story!

I now have a card that if I have to prove that I got my Covid vaccines! So if I have to prove I’m vaccinated, I just have to show my card! Getting the Covid-19 vaccine is optional, but I do recommend getting the vaccine at your nearest pharmacict store (Walgreens, Walmart, etc)! Only people 12 and over can get the vaccine. Try to relax before you get the shot. If you have a allergic reaction to the vaccine, ask a doctor what to do next.

But there are some conditions to the vaccine, because on the skin, there might be pain, redness, swelling, and for the rest of your body, you might get a fever, a headache, et cetera! But those are only signs that the vaccine is working, and your immune system is updating and making your body stronger. And in some rare cases, you might have zero symptoms! Make sure to eat a lot before you get the vaccine (if you don’t, you might feel woozy after you get the vaccine) and don’t forget to sit down and wait 15 minutes, just in case you feel dizzy.

See you next week! I hope you get the vaccine too!
