In other news: the Durga play is back on! A new script is currently in the works- but for now, keep reading the old one!
It’s expected you know the basic details of the myth.
A friendly reminder to the OSP kids: the Durga play is mandated. It does not count towards “your” performances.
We encourage you to sign up on your own and do your own thing! We welcome anything 😀
(As long as it’s appropriate for young children. There are kids here. You are a kid.)
If you are performing any song not in English, you must provide a translation in English and get it approved by your parents.
I believe this was sent through the emails once or twice, but you can never be too sure.
Also, dress code is formal. No lehenga or hoodies.
(Also in the email, I’m sure. I know, hoodies are awesome. But this is a formal event.)
Please come to the next few meeting prepared! We don’t have much time until the October 11th Dashain Party.
Work hard and play hard. We need to get this done!
EVERYONE will have a role to play. Don’t try weaseling out of work lol
Even minor parts will have a role to play. No matter your role:
- Enthusiasm is necessary
- Laziness is not allowed
- We will know
- You must show up prepared
- Give it everything you’ve got!
Laziness gets you nowhere!
It’s expected that you work hard 😀

Still not that excited.
The teacher is eh.
But we had an 8th grade girls vs. teachers volleyball game.
I don’t even know who won, it was just ✨ loud ✨

But the teachers did dang good
Not so much the eighth graders. (In the first half)
But they scored a lot later 😀
Also I stopped paying attention because my brain was dying and the buzzer kept killing me.
So yeah.
I don’t like sports.

We also had to do a buddy activity today? That was okay.
Apparently I scare some girls in my grade.
I dunno why.
And I may have scared the 6th graders too.
Oh well.
