All of the Shiny Pokémon I have Caught (so far)

Two days before this blog was released, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet released in the USA. To celebrate that, I am going to share you all the Shiny Pokémon I have caught in previous games. This is from the top of my head, so it might not be all of them. And I decided not to include a certain one since I have trauma from that tale.

Celebi

Okay, I have to explain this, do I? I used to play Pokémon GO, and there was this “Secrets of the Jungle” event in the game. I finished the entire thing, and the reward for completing the entire event was a shiny Celebi. Sadly, however, my mom gave away the phone that had the shiny Celebi to someone else. Thanks a lot, Mom. I still consider the Celebi as mine though.

Stufful-Bewear

My very first shiny I have caught and have ever kept was a Stufful on Pokémon Shield. I was training up my Charmander (which at that time had evolved into a Charmeleon but whatever). I then saw a Brilliant (you know, those Pokémon that have a yellow aura surrounding them and give you Watts if you defeat or catch it?) Stufful and thought “Hey? Since that is a Stufful, and they’re easy to defeat, how about I defeat it with my Charmeleon?”. Turns out, that Brilliant Stufful was a shiny! But luckily I was able to Ultra Ball it and evolve it into a Bewear!

Snom (4 in total) and Frosmoth

I also got these things from Pokémon Shield. All I did was throw myself into raid dens and BOOM. I got a shiny Snom. I promised to Abby (my sister) that I would evolve that Snom into Frosmoth and trade him(the Snom is a boi) to her.

My first big mistake.

It turns out that in order to evolve Frosmoth, you have to get a strong bond with it and evolve it in the night. I got attached to the Snom, and when I evolved it, I decided to keep him and name him Verde (since shiny Frosmoth have green wings). Yeah. You could probably see how depressed Abby was. But I DID catch four more shiny Snom, so I think that Abby may have a chance.

Comfey

If there are some Pokemon fans out there, you may know that there is a higher chance of getting shiny Pokemon in the Max Lair (which is only in the DLC). My sister has constantly tried to get shinies that way, but never has. I decided to do the Max Lair (since I was done with the entire game and had nothing else to do) and got a Pheromosa Raid and defeated the Pheromosa in just a few hits (we had a Comfey and other type advantages but who cares). When I was scrolling through my options of which Pokemon to pick at the end, you probably could guess my reaction when I saw my Comfey was shiny. “…….WHAT THE FU- (crying Abby noises)”.
