Today I saw Champion Leon’s exhibition match against Raihan! Raihan said he would beat Leon, then Leon was like, ‘I don’t THINK so.’ Then he dynamaxed his Charizard, and it had a cool signature form! Then Hop came in and I couldn’t watch the rest of the match😪. Classic Hop🤣. (But I’m guessing Raihan lost. Why? Just a guess.😁) Then after we met undefeated Champion Leon, we got to choose Pokémon!!! Out of Grookey, Sobble, and Scorbunny, I chose Scorbunny because it’s so darn cute❤❤❤! Scorbunny is a Fire-Type, so it is weak to Rock-types, Ground-types, and Water-types. Hop chose Grookey (the Grass-type, so the dude doesn’t know his type matchups. Grass-types are weak to Fire-type attacks.) Of course Leon chose what was left, and that was Sobble. (Is it just me, or does he choose the Pokémon that your starter is weak to?😅)Then we had to go into the Slumbering Weald. Which is FULL of Pokémon that I didn’t even touch, yet they STILL got ticked off and I had to battle them and poor Singe(my Scorbunny) got all beat up😥😡.(It’s fine with Clobbopus, but ONLY because it is very touchy, and it’s the Tantrum Pokémon.) Anyways, we had to battle Zacian, and our moves had no effect!(because it is level 70 and Singe was level 8.) Then Zacian attacked us for no apparent reason, then we passed out!(To rescue a Wooloo that wandered into the Slumbering Weald. Turns out Leon’s Charizard rescued it, so we passed out for no reason 😓. Then he said, “You did good, Hop.” Even though I did all the work😓. Then I had to tell my mom I was going to Wedgehurst. And then she embarrassed me by saying, “And you, Scorbunny! Look after my little Abby!” It was so embarrassing! This was not a good start to a epic quest…But still I got to Wedgehurst, and bought some berries!(100 Oran Berries, 100 Cheri Berries, and 100 Pecha Berries.) That’s when I decided to put the brakes on my Pokémon quest, and decided to relax! That’s all for today, folks! Stay tuned for my next blog, of my quest to become the champion! Goodbye and stay safe!
