Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is a paid DLC where you travel to an archipelago of islands to design homes for talking animals. When you exit your home, your phone rings. When you pick up, it’s Tom Nook! He wants you to meet someone at the airport. You will immediately be taken to the airport to meet Lottie, a pink otter who designs homes. You will be asked to join her team of planners, and of course you’ve gotta say yes(I mean, why would you buy something to say no?). Once you arrive at the island, you will be led to the building by a monkey named Niko. Once you get there, a random villager will walk in and ask for a vacation home. I got Eloise, a snooty elephant villager. After you build the home, you will earn Poki, a currency on the island, which can be used to buy rare items that can be hard to find in Nook’s Cranny and Nook Shopping. You will get many villagers, such as Cleo and Tybalt, and the villagers are randomly generated. So you can get villagers like Raymond and Judy. It’s possible to remodel previous clients homes! The sky’s the limit, so design to your hearts content!
