Books. Some are for all ages, and some are for adults ONLY. But what is a good book for your little one (ones if you have more than one preschooler)? Well, I have the answers right here! Here are some books for ages 4 and beyond.
Froggy Learns to Swim by Jonathan London
Frogs are supposed to be great swimmers. “Not me!” says Froggy, who’s afraid of the water. But with a little encouragement, some practice, and the help of a silly song or two, Froggy becomes an expert frog-kicker! This book is really funny, and has a lot of humor! I recommend it deeply! You should also read the whole Froggy series by Jonathan London!
Morris’s Disappearing Bag by Rosemary Wells
Morris discovers, under the Christmas tree, one last present that is much better than his brother Victor’s hockey outfit, his sister Rose’s beauty kit, and his sister Betty’s chemistry set. This book understands that most stuff mostly get overlooked by more popular things, and when the things that are overlooked get noticed, people have so much fun with them. A really heartwarming book. I also recommend the Max and Ruby series by Rosemary Wells too!
Curious George by H.A Rey
This book is a delight for little kids, it’s about a orphaned monkey who is then taken on The Man With The Yellow Hat’s wing. The monkey (named George) explores the city that The Man With The Yellow Hat lives in, and has a lot of fun in the prosses, you can also read the sequel to the book, Curious George Gets a Job, and many other books, and you can watch the TV series of Curious George too!
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss
This Dr. Seuss classic will have readers of all ages craving Green Eggs and Ham—no matter where they are! A boy named Sam-I-Am tries to feed a character with no name (Guy-I-Am in the animated series) some green eggs and ham, but the unnamed character refuses every single time. This book teaches your kid to try something new in awhile (like Froggy Learns to Swim) , and also teaches rhymes in a fun way too! Read more Dr Seuss books to your child too!
