If any of you have watched the movie Bao, you may be wondering: Why is the mother still grieving about her son?. The reason why is that the mother has empty nest syndrome. What is empty nest syndrome, how can it be cured, and how is it caused? All those questions can be answered here!

Empty nest syndrome is the grief that parents feel when a child is leaving the house. Let’s say that your son has just graduated from collogue, and is going to start a new life. The sadness of this that the parents have is a sign of empty nest syndrome. It is mostly common in women in their 30s and 40s, but men can have it too. This grief can be the start of the parent having depression, or anxiety. However, it is really uncommon for parents.

NOTE: THIS SECTION IS FOR ADULTS ONLY.

How to cure it? Well, one of the options is to just, move on. Sometimes you can’t DO anything for this. Another way is to keep in touch with your children, so you can stay with them even though they are far away from you. But the best thing to do is to seek support or someone to help you get over it.

There you go, even though that was short, it maybe was still helpful to you. What do YOU think I should do next, put your idea in the chat.
