GUESS WHO’S BACKKKKKK

It’s me again with something ACTUALLY NEW AND FUN TO REPORT

So during Thanksgiving Break, I got the Nintendo Switch 2.
(I still love my old Switch, but wanted to see how good the new one was. Apparently better graphics.)

After leaving it untouched for an eternity (exams and school are fun…), and a lot of My Hero Academia (I’m finally at Season 4 Episode 14, Episode 77 overall…major episode spoiler: SIR NIGHTEYE WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY), I finally got my Switch2 set up yesterday.

Sadly, my Switch2 couldn’t read my microsd card despite it being an approved Express icon Card. Yes, it was inserted all the way. Oh well.

ALSO FOR THOSE WONDERING: Screenshots still look like asparagus when transferred. At least for Fire Emblem: Engage. Maybe screenshots taken on the Switch2 are of better quality?
(Not sure about this yet as my software data is still transferring. I hope Engage has better screenshot graphics. Louis’s face disappeared. So.)

So what did I do while waiting?

Well, I had purchased my Switch 2 at the San Fransico’s Nintendo store (was there for an expo), and had played the demos available on display. Though there was one game I kept returning to…

I played Co-Op mode with my sister, and eventually, there was a small crowd gathering to see what the chaos was about. The eye-hurty chaos.

What game caused this?

(Check the title and take a guess.)

Donkey Kong: Bananza. (which I have incorrectly called Banana Bonanza multiple times. and still do.)

The most chaotic game I can name and have played.

SO. What have I found out while playing this game?

  • You can get over 2000 gold and 40 Banandium chips in the starting area
    • You just have to smash a lot of things. Like the ground. And the ceiling. If you jump onto a wall, you can climb it. This is how the game was definitely intended to be played.
  • Co-Op mode lets Pauline shout and do stuff. The second player is Pauline.
  • THE SWITCH TWO IS REALLY BIG
    • At least in comparison to the original Switch
  • YOU CAN PUNCH THE NPCS AND THE GROUND THEY’RE STANDING ON AND PUT THEM IN A HOLE
    • I-I mean why would anyone do that…I definitely didn’t…hahaha.

I HAVE BARELY GOTTEN INTO THIS GAME AND HAVEN’T ACTUALLY FOUND PAULINE YET BUT IS A VERY GOOD SMASH N BASH GAME.

Anyone who has a Switch 2 and anger issues should buy the game. Smash stuff up.

More deep advice as always.
