Well, I did it.
Well, almost.
————————————————————————————————-
I caught all Pokemon in Paldea, but only the ones that are available in-game. See, I’m playing Pokemon VIOLET, not both Pokemon Scarlet AND Violet.
So while I HAVE caught 369 Pokemon in total, I still have to get 369 more, which are the ones only available by trade (and yes, this does count with the other two starter lines I haven’t gotten yet).
So while I have that dilemma, I’ll recap the other Pokemon I have caught to get to this point.
—————————————————————————————————
First was my hunt for Volcarona, the evolved form of Larvesta, a Pokemon I caught before. I caught a second Larvesta, so I could evolve that one. I was feeling confident. I could easily evolve this bug, right?
But then I found out that it evolves at level 59, which made a lot of things harder for me.
If you are going to say “Oh Nova, you could have caught a Volcarona in Area Zero, why didn’t you do that?”. Well, I DID do that before and I couldn’t find one! Even with a Sandwich Bonus!
So I had to do it the hard way: use a Sandwich Bonus to spawn a lot of Chansey and Blissey and kill them all. I had to defeat so many Pokemon that I even encountered a Shiny Chansey while farming EXP. AND ALL YOU POKEMON PLAYERS HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF HOW MANY CHANSEY THAT HAS TO BE, RIGHT????
In the end, I was able to evolve Larvesta and obtain Volcarona for my Pokedex.

Another Pokemon that I remember catching is Braviary, which was actually very easy to catch. I was at first going to go to Area Zero to catch one (since they are usually found there), but while I was in the Asado Desert trying to catch more Pokemon, I found one!! I instantly caught it as fast as I found it.

Since today is New Years Eve, I really hope I get the Pokemon I need soon!
Have a great New Year!
