Hello everyone! While you all were busy reading the other blogs in Our Sunday Project, I was able to catch many Pokemon to have a total of 270 registered in my Pokemon Violet Pokedex!

…but not all of them.

I still have a long way to go when it comes to finishing my Pokédex. But I’m making progress! So far, I only had to evolve a few Pokemon. Why you ask? It’s a long story.

First, I started with the Riolu line, a very popular one. I first started in catching a Riolu in a certain place in my game. I also had to catch two, since Riolu is a Baby Pokemon and can’t have children. I then tried to level it up so that it can evolve, but it wouldn’t! I then searched how Riolu evolves and for people who don’t know:

It evolves with friendship in the day. And that is usually hard.

Luckily, after a few marmalade sandwiches, bathes, buying a Soothe Bell and battling some Pokemon, I was able to evolve it into a strong Lucario.

Another Pokemon that I had a bit of trouble getting was Whiscash. I first caught a Barbroach, but even though I was in the right places for it to spawn, I couldn’t find a single Whiscash!! Even with a Sandwich Bonus!!

So I did it the hard way: catch a second Barbroach and evolve that one instead of catching an actual Whiscash. But that one isn’t the hardest I’ve listed yet.

The hardest one is one I’m still working on, which is Goodra. I have to wait until it rains in the game for my Sliggoo to evolve into the slimy little stinker! And it hasn’t yet! WHICH IS ANNOYING!!!!!

On the plus side, before I was trying to catch a Toxicroack at Cassaroya Lake, I ate a sandwich to get an Encounter Bonus for Fighting types(I did so to catch its pre-evolved form Croagunk).

But when I tried to hunt for the Toxic Mouth Pokemon, all I got were a lot of Flamigo instead.

Just as I was getting dissatisfied with the amount of flocks the Synchronize Pokemon was having, I saw an albino individual around a group usually pink individuals. I ran into the albino Flamigo, battled with it, and BAM! I caught a Shiny! After that I found the Toxicroack I needed and named my new Flamigo Shrimpy (she’s in the art for this blog)!

It was also then I found out that Shrimpy was my first Flamigo I ever caught (sed)

See y’all next week!
