Hey everyone! I haven’t posted in a while, so I’m back!!!

…and have 3 late blogs.

I’m back home in the Midwest! Just also wanted to say that Alaska is one of the best states to visit to when going up north! I really recommend going there!

Now, back to the blog at hand!

———————————————————————————————————————————————————

So, my family and I decided to visit a National Park, called Kenai Fjords. It first started out to be boring, with the chilly weather and all and the commentary.

Until the sea otters popped up. Then the fun really started. Especially when the captain of the ship pointed out that sea otters are big weasels only beaten by “her ex *JOKE*”.

I then decided to move up to the front of the boat, since the weather was starting to clear up, and I also started the scavenger hunt that their brochure had. We saw sea otters (obviously), harbor seals and stellar sea lions for the mammals scavenger hunt.

The best part was being lucky to see the Dall’s porpoise! They followed the boat for a long time, and we saw another pod of some that also was very energetic! We were also lucky to cross off everything in the bird section of the scavenger hunt. We saw THREE bald eagles! How patriotic is that?? The puffins also were too cute to be ignored. The way how they can stay in the water for thirty seconds and can swim very well in the water is remarkable!

We also got a look at three humpback whales. They weren’t breaching and we didn’t see any orcas or grey whales, but I’m not complaining!!

But the part that really dazzled my family was seeing the glacier. We saw the glacier break off some ice, and even got to touch fallen pieces of the glacier as well! The staff even put some in our drinks as well!

We also got a lot of history of how the company started as well! Overall, this was a fun experience! The staff was nice and funny, the food was amazing and the wildlife definitely speaks for itself!

TEN OUT OF TEN!!!
