We were back when…
A long forgotten game series (Kid Icarus) has been resurrected! 21 years later after the events of the last Kid Icarus game, Kid Icarus Uprising takes place in Skyworld, where Medusa is trying to take over Skyworld JUST like old times. I will explain the part I explained before BECAUSE I forgot one very important thing that happens that WILL be important sooner or later.
Pit now has the Power of Flight, which is given by the goddess of light, Palutena (If you are SUPER confused at this point, read the other three blogs. Otherwise, keep reading). One more thing to mention, the last two games, Palutena is really wise, and civilized. In Kid Icarus Uprising however, Palutena is still wise, but can understand the… Space Pirate language? But that practically makes her the funniest character in the whole game, playfully teasing Pit every chance she gets, SO WHO CARES? Anyway, let’s stop talking about goddess knowledge and let’s get back on track.
After Pit defeats Twinbellows, Palutena then takes Pit to Dark Lord Gaol’s place, where they discover that a human (since Pit and Palutena LOOK human, but they are not, read the last three blogs if you are confused) has made it into the castle before Pit and Palu got in! Pit and Magnus team up, and after many monster slaughters, Palutena calling Magnus a jerk for Magnus saying that Palu is “sleeping on the job while his world is on the “brink of destruction””, and a conversation while they are in a hot spring, they defeat Dark Lord Gaol, finding out that she is a HUMAN GIRL, and her friend was actually your ally (Magnus) and your other ally is *gasp* PALUTENA? (oh wait, we already knew that, sorry :)). But eventually, Palutena declares that Gaol (the human girl) still holding on to her life, and pulls Pit out so he can defeat Hewdraw.
After you defeat the Hewdraw (if you don’t, Palutena will blast it out of the sky with her Palutena Glam Blaster, thank god Palutena (get it”god”, Palu is one (that wasn’t funny, I know))), you go to Pandora’s place and accidentally your neutral clone, Dark Pit. BUT PALUTENA AND SOONER OR LATER EVERYBODY CALLS HIM PITTOO. After defeating Dark Pi- I mean Pittoo and letting him get away, you have to equip the Three Sacred Treasures (more about those items in Part One), but Palutena gave them away (again) to the constellations, and Pit has to claim the Three Sacred Treasure from a bunch of space pirates After he defeats the boss, he gets the Three Sacred Treasures, equips them, goes to Medusa’s castle, and defeats Medusa once and for all. Credits play….
JUST KIDDING! It turns out that Hades, the true leader (and god) of the Underworld, was the one that revived Medusa and her generals and was using Medusa as a distraction!
