Hey everyone! Boy, are we going back to October or WHAT?!?! I’m back again for another installment of this series that probably won’t receive a 13th part in a few millennia! Hahahahaha-
AHHHHHHHHHHH
well here’s the story thus far where we were picking off-
KIE: S&R (Part 11: Aliens! What a Cliche!)
First Part of Original KIAE (cringe)
——————————————————————————————
So, Pit’s now a ring… that can posses people. And animals. So GUESS HOW HE GET’S AROUND-
After going to a ruined town through a girl and a dog, he finds the town being attacked by… Palutena’s forces? That’s a bit shady…
(oh yeah I stopped added TV Tropes because it includes some swear words and they’re VERY hard to find)
After his ring is put on from his good ol’ friend Magnus, who is fending off the Centurions (soldiers of Palutena’s Army) and other heavenly forces destroying the town, he gets an explanation from his human mercenary friend.
After the Aurum were defeated, Palutena’s Army seemed to disappear, leaving the Underworld Army and the Forces of Nature to wreak havoc on humankind. When Palu’s Army came back…
Let’s just say they joined onto the fun the villains were having. Yeah? Yeah.
The worst part? All of this was THREE YEARS AGO.
(our boy pit was in a coma for three years)
After beating up a bunch of centurions, Magnus (being semi-possessed by Pit) faces the boss: Pit himself.
You see, for some reason, Palutena has possessed Pit’s body to do evil for some dumb reason. Don’t worry, it’s explained later in the story.
After getting the ring back on Pit’s body, Pit is carried off by the Power of Flight… by Viridi. The goddess of nature goes to explain that Palutena not only dealing against the Underworld Army, but now humankind is her enemy as well. She says this is for her best interest to help him, but it’s implied that Viridi has a crush on Pit…
(oh who am I kidding, she’s like thousands of years old and Pit is like 25 or something the hey)
So, Viridi takes Pit on a tour through Skyworld (three years later), where it is all in ruin, and Pit even has a confrontation with the goddess of light herself! And their interaction… eh…
I’ll let them speak for themselves:
Palutena: Well, it’s been a while, Pit.
Pit: It’s like the entire world’s been turned upside down! What’s going on?
(Palutena begins to throw several floating islands at Pit.)
Palutena: Everything changes, Pit. Even gods. And to be frank, I’m tired of fighting for those ungrateful humans. And I’m especially tired of dealing with you!
Pit: No!
Before Pit can go after her, Viridi reveals that there is a barrier surrounding her temple, and they have to find a way how to break it. How, you ask, does Viridi tell Pit about the barrier?
By SLAMMING HIM INTO IT, OF COURSE (but to be fair, Pit wanted her to send him in so)
Now, before you get angry at Palutena, I swear, I know about the game’s plot, and I assure you that it will ALL be explained in the next installment of this series (unfortunately)
Seeya then!
