Hey everybody! It’s me, Nova! See, I’m still alive! Nothing’s wrong! I just got a bit addicted to Super Mario and took a Robotics trip (a blog for later!), so I’ve been absent for quite some time!
But, now back to our original storyline (which may go longer than usual): KID ICARUS EXPLAINED!
(groaning in background proceeds to bass boost itself)

First Part of Original KIAE (did i forget to mention that it’s cringe?)
So, back where we were, Pit was out on a new mission to defeat a fleet of demons called the Orcos! To do so, he had to defeat three fortress bosses to get each one of the Three Sacred Treasures (explained about in past blogs)! Will he be able to do it?
….long story short, he does. How he defeats them is all based on the player’s method.

<shows the Minotaur, Skull Wing, and Fire Serpent lying on the floor, dazed from being defeated. Pit then runs out towards the Palace of the Sky (again, known as Palutena’s Temple in later games) to meet Palutena, proud to see Pit has succeeded in completing his job>
Palutena: I see you’re finished, Pit.
Pit: Of course not! I haven’t DIED yet!
<silence enters the room, as the goddess of light looks at Pit with exasperation at his very stupid joke>
Palutena: …Anyway, you remember what each treasure does, correct?
Pit: Yes, Lady Palutena! The Pegasus Wings, which are… the only thing that helps me fly freely. (makes sad face as soon as he reminds himself he can’t fly, but regains his spirit in mere seconds). Then the Arrows of Light can hit any enemy with piercing damage! And the Silver Armor reduces attacks!
Pit: <makes a face of bewilderment> But what happened to the Mirror Shield, though? You know, the shield that can block any attack? Isn’t THAT supposed to be there instead of this armor?
Palutena: <only replies with a Khaby Lame-styled shrug>
<suddenly, a huge demon flys in from the top of the temple in and blocks the angel from Palutena. He then points his finger at the goddess, shocked from the intrusion, turning her into stone>
Pit: <shocked> Who are YOU?
???: I am ORCOS! This foolish goddess though that I was an army, but I am my own being as the KING OF THE EVIL LAND!!
Pit: <crosses his arms, glaring at the demon> Thats a bit of a stupid cliche title, isn’t it?
Orcos: <disappointed> Hey, YOU try to make one up on the spot, will you? Now, in order to get your precious goddess back, you must defeat ME in the PALACE… of… the… Sky…..
<realized that he is in the Palace already, Pit readies the Three Sacred Treasures to defeat the demon, his face wearing a smug smile>
Orcos: Aw, cra-
<shows him getting beaten up by Pit with the Three Sacred Treasures in hand, and the demon dissolves into a bunch of ashes. Palutena is turned back to normal, still shaken up by the experience, but okay>
Palutena: Ugh… why was that boss battle SO short?
Me: <sticks head out of background again> NO TIME!!! ALSO IT’S HARD TO WRITE!! THIS IS AN EXPLANATION, NOT A BATTLE GUIDE!!<goes back into background>
Palutena: Anyway… Thank you Pit! You have restored balance to Angel Land once again!
Pit: Aw yeah! <pumps a fist> Wonder when my next adventure will be!
Palutena: <smiling> Definitely soon, Pit!
<Gunpei Yokoi then walks out onto where Pit and Palutena are celebrating, the two looking at him with stares when they see him>
Gunpei Yokoi: <speaks in Japanese> Actually, in about two decades.
Pit and Palutena: <slowly turns to Yokoi, shocked at the news> …. TWO DEC WHA-
Sadly, Mr. Yokoi was right about that. Pit and Palutena did not have any more adventures after that. Yes, even though Pit appeared in a lot of media, showing up in the infamous Captain N TV series and even appearing as a playable fighter in Super Smash Brothers (while poor Palu just got a honkin’ cameo in SSB), there was no Kid Icarus game afterwards.
Oh, and Pit’s wings got burnt off at the end of Myths and Monsters so-
But anyway, there was no sequel for Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.
….
