Hey everyone! It’s September, so you know what that means!

SCHOOL!!!!! YAAAYYYY-

wait am i crazy

The long story short… I don’t think my sophomore year in high school is going to be a great one. Why you ask? Well, let me count the ways…

Oh! Before we get started, if you like school for these reasons or like these reasons in general, that’s perfectly fine! These all can be aspects at school that are reasons that you like it, and that’s fine! In fact, all of these reasons are simply just my personal opinion! You don’t have to agree with them if you want!

1: The other students are pests.

Well, if you are a teacher or another student, there is no doubt that there is a point you realize or at least think like a certain lion “I’m surrounded by idiots”.

Heck, that’s one of the reasons why school is usually bad for me: the other students are just so annoying. However, this reason is first because now that everyone at my grade is a sophomore, that isn’t that much of a problem, because as at that point, you understand that it’s time for you to GROW UP and STOP BEING AN IDIOT! But, then again, there are still some adults in this world that still act like that…

2: The teachers are pests

Yeah, yeah. We know, students are annoying and all, but what if the problem isn’t even students?! What if they are… the teachers?

Sadly, I’m experiencing this now. I won’t say the name of the teacher, but this teacher is the reason why learning Latin is so hard for me. This teacher just yells and acts ridiculous to make the lessons fun, but it only works for the other kids and not me, who’s spending the time covering my ears and not taking notes. But, the teacher’s starting to quiet down a bit, and annoying teachers are very rare so this isn’t as bad as the other reasons.

3: The activities that allow you to skip school

Wait a minute! But school’s boring! Why would you hate activities that allow you to skip it? Well, what if the teacher doesn’t tell you what you have to do for the missing days? What about not giving you worksheets that are supposedly the homework? What about the reminder that there is a test tomorrow not being there as you leave? WHAT IF THE ACTIVITY IS A DARNED THING THAT YOU NEVER WANTED TO GO TO IN THE FIRST PLACE BUT YOU WERE FORCED TO DO ANYWAY???!!!

…sorry. I got a lot personal on the last part.

But this is all true about my chemistry teacher! This teacher did all these (except the last part). Yeah, I know I’m 15 and all, but I’m still growing, and this is the first month of school, of course I can’t be like “Oh! I missed a day! Let me check Canvas!” This is a bit of pressure given! I can’t say I’m not at fault, either (dang, I should have studied for that elements quiz!) but don’t expect a student to have some immediate thought of anything!

That’s all folks! See you next time!
