Hey there everyone! Today, I counted the amount of paper cranes I have made this year (so far). Why you ask?

…Because the hobby kinda possessed me.

You see, at the beginning of the year, I had to do a demonstration speech in one of my classes. So as I was studying the art of folding paper (I had to demonstrate how to make a card), I found the legend of if a person folds 1,000 paper cranes, they will be granted a wish, as the crane is a symbol for hope. This got me interested, so I learned how to do it, presented my demonstration speech on my card…

and got a B.

Yeah. It sucked.

But this didn’t stop me from making paper cranes! I decided to make more… enough to stop me from being distracted on my computer (at school, not home) and my homework. But hey! It’s progress!

I even decided to go far enough to make a VERY small crane. Here:

…so yeah. I’ve counted, and turns out, I’ve made above 200 of these puppies. But I’m not stopping until 1,000!

Here’s the website I used to help me learn how to make one (or 263 for the matter)

See you all next week!
