Hey everyone! Once again, I’m back! Currently, I’m in Florida for Spring Break and BOY!
I’ve been here before and I’ll definitely be back here again.
Here’s what’s happening so far:
So, first, we headed to our first hotel via Uber. While we’re there, we find out two things:
- There is a boat that advertises things from movies to video games and
- Our room wasn’t ready yet.
So, during that time, my mom, my sister and I decided to go ahead and walk around town, seeing a lot of dogs, statues and other fun interactive things along the way!
After more walking, getting dinner and seeing more dogs, we went to walk back to the hotel, to see an actual DOLPHIN in the river that the bridge we were walking over was over! The little guy was circling around the area, but strangely, the feller’s pod (cause dolphins live in groups of usually 2-30 individuals called pods) didn’t seem to be anywhere in sight! The dolphin was just swimming around with the fish! It was amazing.
Later that day, when we went to the hotel and got into our room, my sister saw something peculiar under us… a jellyfish. We named him Plastic Bag.
Later in the week, we went to the Miami Botanical Garden, where I decided to geek out about plants. But the name about a garden was misleading…
…there was a koi pond as well with a bunch of TORTLES
.
My sister and I decided to go buy koi food (only a dollar per pouch!) and go feed the fish. But Abby also spent most of her fish food on a chicken turtle she named Silly (she even pet him). And during the feeding time, we learned that despite the docile temperament koi have, they will absolutely cause a WAR when fighting over food (also they have big mouths).
There were also other things:
- Going into 20 different malls and walking around
- Getting nitrogen ice cream at a Florida exclusive chain restaurant.
- Going to the famous cute store Miniso and forcing my sister to get a sushi cat plushie (I luv u too abby hehe)
And much more!
See you all back in Wisconsin!
