As none of you might know, my mom, dad, sister, dog, and I went on a trip to Florida to find warmth during the winter (spoilers: we didn’t). There was a lot that happened on the trip, but I simply can’t list it all here. But I WILL tell you about some aspects of the trip, and that is the trips to the zoos. One focused on marine life, while the other focused the life on the land.

First the marine life aquarium. The Gulfarium was a bit boring, even though there were the dolphin and sea lion shows, I was a bit bored. At first, when I saw there was a crocodile exhibit, I was excited about going there. But then I realized that crocodiles are just lazy animals that just sit in the water and do nothing (they’re cold blooded). It would have been better if the aquarium stimulated the alligator’s and crocodile’s wildlife behavior, that would be entertaining.

But one of my favorite parts was the tank exhibits. I could see a live mudskipper in that collection. There was an exhibit that said that a tree frog and a python were sharing an exhibit together, but the tree frog was nowhere to be seen and the python looked content, so I guess we all know what happened there…
2/5 is my final rating for the Gulfarium. I have seen many animals before that are in the Gulfarium, but they do treat their animals well and have very exotic species.

The second one has to be my favorite of the two, and I would like to come back there someday, due to the absence of many animals in the exhibits (and I didn’t get to see them all since Abby and Mom were getting angry and tired). The zoo is called Zoo Atlanta, and it had to be the best zoo I have ever visited in the US (a zoo in the UK is #1 Zoo on my list and Ripley’s Aquarium at the Smokeys is #1 Aquarium on my list). There were many exhibits, including one for elephants, bald eagles, goats, sheep, tigers, lions, and best of all: PANDAS.

You see, there was a time were I went to Washington DC (long story, can’t talk about it right now), and the rest of my family were just following me for the trip. My sister when to the Smithsonian National Zoo and saw a giant panda there, but it was sleeping. At Zoo Atlanta, however, both Abby and I got to see an awake, legit, and bamboo-eating PANDA. It was adorable and I will always cherish that moment.

After a running-through tour of (almost) the entire zoo (we missed the red panda), we stopped at the lemur exhibit and called it a day, since my mom and sister were so annoyed due to my interest of animals. So the moral of that story is: IF YOU TAKE ME INTO A ZOO, YOU WILL NEVER COME OUT UNTIL I SEE EVERYTHING IN THE ZOO. EVERYTHING!!!!!! 5/5, love the exotic animals, fun and entertaining!

Thank you for listening, see you next week! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Best wishes,
