Nepalese from Menomonee Falls, Germantown, Franklin, Shorewood, Whitefishbay and Brookfield came together to celebrate Dashain at Mitchell Park Pavilion on Sunday. They prepared, first time in the history of Wisconsin, an ethnic food from Kathmandu known as “Newari Bhoye” to Celebrate Dashain.
Although Dashain is considered to be the greatest Hindu festival, everyone from Nepal celebrate it, regardless of their religious background. Next Dashain program will be held on October 28, 2023.
They will also celebrate Nepali New Year on April 8th 2023.
