Nevermoor: The Book Series That Might Replace Harry Potter

Hey everyone! So, I have not read any good books lately, so I’m just writing a review of a book series I have already read! Enjoy!

For this book, I recommend the entire Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend is read with an audiobook, it really helps you understand what is going on throughout the book!

It all starts in a fictional land called The Unnamed Realm (no seriously, that’s what it’s called) in a place called The Wintersea Republic. We open up with a girl named Morrigan Crow, who is the “cursed child” in her family, only because she was born on Eventide, the equivalent of New Years Eve. She’s constantly mistreated by her father and her grandmother, and just wishes it all to stop!

Then one day, on her eleventh birthday, a ginger-bearded man named Jupiter North and is almost killed by vapor monsters called the Hunt of Smoke and Shadow.

Well, that excitement lit up quick.

Now, Morrigan has to pass trials to get into the Wundrous Society, a prestigious organization that does good for the land of Nevermoor, also known as the Free State.

Will Morrigan pass and get into the Wundrous Society? What is her talent that will get her in? And who is that “Mr. Jones” who just keeps visiting her?
