Today, my mom bought me new games! They are called Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. They sound fun actually (I haven’t played it yet 😒), I can tell you a little bit about the two games.

Your Partner: Who do you Want?

You first start in a place called Pallet Town in Kanto (where Ash Ketchum in the anime lives!), where you can’t get the three starter Pokémon, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. You and your rival, can’t get the 3 starters. So Professor Oak gives you different Pokémon. If you are playing Let’s Go Pikachu, you will get Pikachu (like Ash Ketchum in the anime!) and your rival will get Eevee. But, If you are playing Let’s Go Eevee, you will get Eevee and your rival will get Pikachu.

Gotta Catch Them All!

The game is not that shabby, you catch Pokémon and be the very best and all that stuff. But catching Pokémon is kind of lame, you throw a Pokeball at the Pokémon and see the results of the probability, so it is kind of lame.

Free Mew Anyone?

The game has it’s upsides and downsides, but the most coolest thing in Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee is the mythical Pokémon Mew! Mew is a really powerful Pokémon which can transform into other Pokémon and has really cool moves. Surprisingly, it is easy to get Mew. First, purchase the Pokeball Plus, which is used to catch Pokemon in the game, purchase the Pokeball Plus and bring it home. Second, connect the Pokeball Plus to your Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee game. Last, click on Mystery Gift, click on Get by Pokeball Plus, and you will receive Mew! Do NOT use a used Pokeball Plus, a used Pokeball Plus from EBAY can’t contain a Mew in it, there is only one Mew per Pokeball Plus.

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

The game has a lot of battling in it. You are suppose to battle all the Gym Leaders in Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee. You only have 2 chances, so hurry up quick! You get badges for defeating the gym leaders. Their are also occasional battles with Team Rocket, a team that want world domination.

CONGRATS!

You just learnt the basics of Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee. I hope this short guide helped you!
