When I last left off, I was in the cold, snowy, Route 10, but the trip to Wyndon was delayed, as I had to buy a comfy parka to continue my journey(hey, you wouldn’t want to be in the cold for a long walk, would you? And yes, I am aware that in Pokémon Sword you can walk in the cold and still survive with short sleeves, but I like to make my game seem like reality). After a loooong walk and lots of battles(I’m skimming through this so we can get to the good stuff), I was starting to wonder if this was a good idea, as I had to constantly send out Singe to stop freezing to death. When I was about to take a Flying Taxi back to Postwick(my hometown), the snow cleared up, and I could see Rose Tower, and. . . you guessed it, WYNDON! I ran so fast that even Singe(aka a fast Pokémon!) was having trouble keeping up with me. After running into busy Wyndon with Hop(where’d he come from?) and walked into Wyndon Stadium(after healing my Pokémon, obviously).
When the Semifinals took place, my good friend Marnie appeared, and was ready to battle me. After Singe swiftly defeated her Scrafty, Liepard, Toxicroak, and Morpeko, I said, “Singe, return! Time to Gigantamax!” Singe came back into his Pokéball, and Gigantamaxed! Marnie Gigantamaxed her Grimmsnarl, and I instructed Singe to hit it with G-Max Fireball, right in the kisser💀! Oh, and that KO’d Grimmsnarl in one hit(no surprise there), and as Grimmsnarl shrankback into it’s Pokéball, I swear I heard Singe let out a grim snarl in triumph. Coincidence? But, as I celebrated my first victory in the Semifinals, I had no idea what was coming at me.
That’s all, folks! Yes, this was a short blog, but I had nothing to do, and I know you don’t want to hear the story of me grinding. So just keep in mind, there’ll be more next time! Bye!
