Today I started off to Hulbury, but Team Yell was blocking the bridge, and trying to steal a bike from a male doctor. Team Yell was like, “Give us that bike! We’re gonna use it to chase around Gym Challengers! It’ll be a scream😱!” (minus the emoji). The doc was like, “I don’t THINK so.” He made me do it, but it was worth it, because after I won, I got a cool bike! After that I got… a Drifloon and a Galarian Farfetch’d! Plus I battled a lady with her Cherubi and another lady with her Croagunk. Plus I FINALLY GOT TO HULBURY!!! YAY!!! But I saw the big important chairman talking to his fans, and his big big important fans walking away from him because his big fancy assistant shooed then away. But then there was… BEDE☹. But what’s weird is that he’s was all rainbows and happiness and sunshine in front of the chairman. ‘Yeah, yeah.’ I thought. ‘Turn your back, keep a hidden camera, and see how Bede is such a $#%*.’ But then the CHAIRMAN was all rainbows and happiness and sunshine in front of ME. That sucks😓. Then he’s like, “If you win your battle against Nessa, I’ll throw a party!” ‘Uhhhhh… you are acting weird, Chairman Rose.’ I thought. His assistant, Oleana, told me to hurry up and get my Gym badge. ‘THAT was RUDE.” I thought. But I cleared my mind when I saw Nessa at the lighthouse, and she said, without looking behind her, said, “You’re a Gym Challenger, aren’t you?” I said, “That’s amazing!” She turned around and smiled at me. “You’re one of the one’s endorsed by Leon, right? You’ve become somewhat of a hot topic among the Gym Leaders.” She paused, then said, “Here you go, Ms. Famous. I’ve heard about you, so you should hear about me.” She then gave me her League Card🙂! “Let’s go to the stadium.” She said. “I love fishing, but I love Pokémon battles even more, and I’m itching to have a battle with you!” And with that, Nessa walked back to the Hulbury Stadium. First, I thought Espurr needed some incense, so I got her a Odd Incense, which boosts the power of Psychic-type attacks. I also got Steenee a Absorb Bulb, which instead of taking damage, it boosts the holders Sp.Atk(Special Attack, which boosts the power of special attacks, such as Moonblast and Thunderbolt). After which, I felt I was ready, an walked into the Gym to complete the Gym Mission.

It was a weird maze. You had to press buttons to stop the waterfalls blocking your way. To make things worse, there were GYM. TRAINERS. EVERYWHERE. They all had either a Goldeen, Corphish, Arrokuda, Tympole, of some other Water-Type. After I FINALLY reached the end of the maze, I was ready for Nessa. But it was a verrrrrrrry crazy maze, and I healed my Pokémon first. ‘Man. If these trainers are hard to beat, Then Nessa must be even harder to beat.’ I thought as I walked onto the pitch.

I was right.

Nessa was way, way, WAY harder to beat. Mew, my Espurr, finished off her Goldeen, but Espurr was knocked out by Arrokuda after two Bite attacks. I finished off her Arrokuda with my Meowth, but I had to switch to Steenee when she switched to Drednaw. She Dynamaxed first, so she got to move first(this means Drednaw was faster than Steenee.) But I still have a Steenee holding an Absorb Bulb, because Drednaw never used Max Geyser(Dynamax Water-type move)! I beat her and earned a Water Badge, and Man, was I proud of it! I went to the restaurant with Oleana( I didn’t have a choice), and saw Sonia! Chairman Rose had a loooooong conversation with Sonia, but Oleana wouldn’t let him talk with me! She said they had to get going. Seriously, she hates my guts. She hates me SO much, that even if Chairman Rose was plotting something EVIL she STILL wouldn’t let me get to him(OMINOUS FORESHADOWING! DUN DUN DUUUUNNNN)! Anyway. After the conversation, I felt like taking a rest, and I signed off.
