Today, after I walked into Turffield, and Hop surprised me. “Abby, Sonia tried asking me about something, but I had no idea…” Does Hop even listen to Professor Magnolia’s lecture’s on TV? Maybe he’s too busy watching the soon-to-be-former-Champion’s matches… Anyway, I followed Sonia’s Yamper to where she was.
After I got up to Ye Old Hill( Note: Not the hill’s real name), Sonia was waiting for me at the top of Ye Old Hill( like I said, not it’s real name). She asked me if I knew what the Geoglyph at the top of the hill represented. (I didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but it looked like a weird overgrown person with people and a pig frolicking below it’s feet.) So I took a wild guess. “The Darkest Day?” I said(But Groot would have made much more sense). “Right perceptive of you. Especially since the part depicting the black storm has disappeared.” I wanted her to say it like, DIS-A-PEEEEEERED like in Spies in Disguise. Anyway. She gave me two Revives, and I hurried down to the Gym, where Hop was, showing off his Grass Badge. So I went inside, traded my Galarian Meowth for a regular Kantonian Meowth, and went inside to take on the Gym.
It was harder than I thought. I had to chase Wooloo! WOOLOO THAT DIDN’T EVEN LISTEN! But I managed, and battled a dude with his Gossifleur, a girl with her Oddish, and a boy with his Gossifleur and Oddish. Wait…I sense a theme here… Nah. Again. I then walked into the Gym, ready to face the gruesome Gym Leader Milo…
He wasn’t so gruesome. Honestly, that guy never stops smiling, even in battle. First I used Scratch, Bite, and Pay Day with Cash( my Meowth) and finished up with Last Resort, to bring his Gossifleur down, then used Raboot and Corvsquire to bring his Eldegross down, but poor Wimpod fainted( I forgot it was a Water and Bug type…). I got my Grass Badge and was ready to move on to Hulbury to challenge the Water-type Gym Leader when I bonked into a Espurr so I could catch it, but made it faint(courtesy of Meowth, whom I spanked) but caught a second Espurr, who was one level stronger. After testing it out on a boy who had a Stufful, Ralts, and Cutiefly, I decided to take a little break for a while, and signed off.
