On June 14th at 8:00 pm we congratulated our 4 graduates with a Promotion Program, 4 graduates who graduated Middle School and Elementary School Abha Tripathi graduating from Wisconsin Hills Middle School to Brookfield Central High school , Nova Subedi graduating From Dixon Elementary to Pilgrim Park Middle School, Janavi Wagle graduating from Burleigh Elementary also to Pilgrim Park Middle School and our last graduate me, Eureka Subedi graduating from Swanson Elementary to Wisconsin Hills Middle School. At this time we welcomed a very special folk singer Sharada Pangeni. Starting this program off with a congrats speech from each of our guests who attended this meeting starting from Jeneeya Suwal. We slowly moved to each of our guests wishing us good luck and giving a few words to say congrats! Each of the graduates got to say a little speech too, I remember saying “I know I will be entering a whole new world , learning environment, and a new stage of my education life as a student in the Elmbrook School District, but one thing I know for sure is that it will be fun!”, I said. As we ended the speeches we got to have a dohori with Sharada Pangeni as we slowly started to move from sad songs into more happy, cheerful and dancing songs. I felt very honored and grateful to all those people who have supported me and stood with me this far into my education life and I will never forget the good times in my Elementary school as I gradually move on into a new learning environment. Singing and dancing people’s face with joy is all I’ve ever wanted in this promotion as I know that sometimes this gets a little teary. I thank the guests, my parents, friends and family for supporting me throughout this journey in my Elementary School life as I enter Wisconsin Hills Middle School in September. I also thank Our Sunday Project for helping me so I can be who I am today and standing this far into my education life as I look forward to entering Middle School with a great smile and joy as I keep my memories from Elementary School in my heart as I create more in Wisconsin Hills. One more person I want to thank is Jeneeya Suwal for letting me write blogs for our Sunday Project so I can share my experience with you.
Thank You.
