Hello everyone! Today, I’m going to tell you guys about this very funny show that I discovered on a plane!
So while I was going on my way to Nepal, there were TV options to watch while the plane was flying. The shows included Cosmos (with Neil DeGrasse Tyson), The Simpsons (because of course) and this National Geographic Show called Science of Stupid. I watched the episodes the airflight company gave me and I loved them! And now I’m here to tell you about Science of Stupid so you can enjoy it yourself!
Science of Stupid is a TV Show in which hilarious videos from the internet are taken into the show. The videos show people (and rarely, pets) failing at certain sports or tasks. The show then goes to explain what went wrong by using science terms and examples.
The host of the show changes depending on which place in the world you are in, and so will the jokes. So I recommend watching the episodes that have Dallas Campbell, Richard Hammond, and Ben Aaron as hosts if you are in the US. But no matter what version of the show you watch, the hosts will make the best jokes that you have ever heard!
Some scientific themes you will explore in the television series are gravity, friction, Newton’s Laws Of Motion, and even solubility (let me just say that some people like hot peppers a little too much…)!
I should tell you that the videos are family friendly! However, there are very rare alcohol appearances and blocked out swearing.
I found some episodes of Science of Stupid, but most of them are short segments of the show. You can enjoy them in the links below! You can also go to National Geographic to find some episodes there!
