Hello everybody! I just want to remind you all that are part of the main Our Sunday Project crew that today (when I publish this blog, at least) that I’m going to be starting the D&D sessions in OSP only on Sundays (obviously)! I know that the only people that voted for D&D were Abby and I, but I DON’T CARE!!! We’re doing it anyway.
The campaign will take place in a location I made up, and players will be able to make their own map of their world. It will include cute, quirky and helpful characters that will guide you on your journey and make it a LOT easier. You also have to rely a lot on your friends during this campaign.
I first encountered Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) when I was in 8th Grade (pretty recently). I read this book about this girl who discovers D&D and loves the game, but is pressured by her friend for it because they are “too old” to play it. The girl doesn’t listen to her friend though, and she even goes far to buy a human fighter figurine instead of Gloria Vanderbilt pants so she can match with her friend.
Another good factor of me joining D&D was because the movie came out while I was in 8th grade (the 2023 one, not the old 2000’s series). It was very cool, so that’s why I watched it (it was very good).
CHANGING THE SUBJECT>>>>>
On Saturday, I went tree climbing. It had a relaxing view and it was fun! By the way, I don’t mean ACTUALLY climbing a tree with bare hands, but climbing a tree with ropes attached to you and pulling yourself up all the way to the top. It was a tedious process, but I lived!
My sister also went tree climbing with me as well but also had a different experience, so you can ask her about that.
Seeya later!
