This blog has some content that children might feel uncomfortable about. You have been warned.
There are many things in life I might never understand, from things that are “in” and things that are “out”, to why things in TV or IRL are always made or are like a certain way. This is a short list of some things I don’t understand about people or things.
Why does everyone think the LGBTQIA+ community is bad?
In middle school, I always saw that people said things like “Trans people are weird” or “<blank> is gay”, and I’ve seen in Roald Dahl has used the word “queer” to describe witches. the only thing I am wondering is… why? To me, I see those things that people call “weird” to be normal things in life. In fact, books about people having a disability or specific needs made the word “special” a derogatory term for them. So I just want people to stop judging other people JUST BY THEIR OPINIONS, SKIN COLOR OR CHOICES! THOSE CHOICES BELONG TO ANOTHER PERSON, NOT YOU!!!
Pokemon
Most of you might have experienced this type of thing. When you are in pre-k and elementary school, people love Pokemon and have first been introduced to the beloved RPG, but then when you are in middle school and high school, people criticize you for playing the game because it’s too “childish”, BUT THEN in college and beyond, everyone is CRAZY for Pokemon. Why? I don’t know why people at my school say that Pokemon is “for babies”, but at the same time adults like Jaiden Animations and TheOdd1sOut LOVE the game. I’m not questioning why adults love Pokemon, I’m asking why teens hate it.
Horror Movies and Stories
For this one, there are many answers that answers a person’s liking for these, but I still don’t know why people like them. Horror movies are scary and usually disgusting, but still people love them, but personally, I don’t see why people like them a lot, since they scare an audience more than it enjoys them, and I have never seen a person smile while watching a horror movie (but that WOULD be creepy if they did that anyway), so I have no idea what so enjoyable of a horror movie.
That’s all, nothing more, nothing less!
