Heyo everyone!! Writing this from Texas!

Why Texas?

My sister does Robotics, but her team didn’t go to Regionals (which was in Texas). My mother didn’t want to cancel the flight, though, so we ended up going to Texas.

Texas is actually boiling and my Wisconsin brain wanted to melt

(This weather makes you drink water what)

(How dare you Helios I don’t drink water I’m the almighty Solus)

Anyway

Going to Texas was also a fun birthday thing for me

Yes ME

My birthday is on Sunday lol help I don’t wanna be 14

Seadall’s birthday is the following day

But anyways

Here’s how my trip is going!

The plane ride was…interesting as usual.

I was playing Fire Emblem Engage again and arrived at Brodia (yay Zelkov and Louis fighting) (I may or may not have restarted just to get them to talk mid-fight), but was somewhat bothered.

As a young child behind me had headphones which glowed/lit up and flashed.

Yippee.

JUST BUY NORMAL HEADPHONES I BEG YOU

Anyway, first day in Texas!

A quick stop at CVS and a trip to the mall taught me that some plushies are stuffed with not soft stuff.

And those suck.

After that (and nearly losing my father and Nova), we ended up going to a waterfall thingy called the Water Wall (?).

It was AMAZING.

Not just because it was water after heat, but it was pretty :33

We also went to an aquarium which had a whole bunch of cool animals like a unicorn fish, a tiger, and sharks.

I ended up laughing for at least a minute when I saw that the scientific name of the Upside-down jellyfish is Cassiopeia sp..

My mythology brain went haha funni queen

The aquarium also had a whole outdoor ride/a\carnival game section in which I won a Finizen and a octopus which I gave to my cousin (hah adjective clause)

Little heartwarming moment I was playing with electric bubble wands to see if they worked but none of them did because they give you the bubble fluid after purchase

And I was very salty about this and tried to pop a few bubbles that floated by

But then this little girl turned on her bubble wands and pointed it towards me and my sister who was nearby and let up play with the bubbles

It was very cute and sweet and it made my day 🙂

Moral is small acts of kindness = good

At this point drink water because Texas is ruthless

And even though ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves you should stay hydrated and not get heatstroke

And read mythology and look outside

So um

That’s Texas so far 😀

(Unfortunately we are not near the Alamo sad)

(That’s San Antonio not Houston)

Anyway that’s all

Enjoy your break and stay hydrated
