There are many ways to evolve Pokémon in the latest Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, you can evolve Pokémon in many ways, but I have picked the most unique and weird ways you can evolve Pokémon, and let’s get started!!!
Inkay into Malamar
One of the most weirdest is to evolve the adorable Inkay into the powerful Psychic and Dark type Malamar, and to do that is really, really simple. If you get in a battle and you see Inkay level up to Lv 30, turn the console upside down! Then it will evolve instantly into Malamar!
Riolu into Lucario
As one of the most popular Pokémon, Lucario has always been a fan favorite! But getting it has been so hard! Luckily, I know how to get Lucario! First, find it’s previous form, Riolu, in Giant’s Cap during a hailstorm, battle it and catch it (Ultra Ball recommended). Cook curry with it and do everything you can to make Riolu’s friendship high. When you level up in the day, it will evolve into Lucario!
Applin into Flapple or Appletun
Another native of Galar, almost everyone loves Applin’s evolutions, they also love Applin itself! But evolving it can be a real toughie. First go to Route 5, look for the exclamation points that do not show in the grass, those have a 10% chance of being a Applin, battle it and catch it, then go to Hammerlocke, go to the entrance of Route 6 and give your Applin to the boy in the red shirt, he will give you your Applin back, but he will give you something else. If you are playing on Pokémon Sword, he will give you a Tart Apple, which is used to evolve Applin into Flapple. If you are playing Pokémon Shield, he will give you a Sweet Apple, which is used to evolve Applin into Appletun. Give your Applin the Tart/Sweet Apple and it will instantly evolve into Flapple/Appletun! Enjoy your adorable Grass-and- Dragon type!
Piloswine into Mamoswine
To evolve Piloswine into Mamoswine, it has to depend on what moves you have. You see, Piloswine can on evolve by it learning Ancient Power! See, just that easy!
Congrats!
You just learned the basics of evolving Pokémon! 1. Move the sticks or move the console in handheld mode. 2. Make your Pokémon have a high friendship level. 3. Give the Pokémon a held item. Or 4. Just simply learning moves! See you next time!
