There are so many myths that are always being believed and created… BY ADULTS! Here are some myths from some sites I found.
- If a baby bird is touched by a human, the mother bird will reject the baby
- Sharks can’t get cancer (why did someone create that myth???)
- Bulls hate the color red (they actually get triggered by movement)
- A penny dropped from the Empire State Building can kill someone
- Lightning never strikes twice in the same place (it does, alright)
- Bananas don’t grow from trees (they grow from a herb <wot>)
- Elephants are afraid of mice
- Dog mouths are cleaner than human mouths (again why???)
- The world is flat
- Opossums hang from their tails (the babies do though)
- Dogs see things in black and white (they see color, not as vivid as humans as though)
- It takes seven years for you to digest gum (you can’t digest gum at all)
- Napoleon was short (he was 5 feet and 5 inches, but still taller than Becky G!)
- Toads do not cause warts (humans do boiiiiii)
- Drinking alcohol raises your body temperature (it actually lowers it)
- Sugar makes kids hyperactive
And finally…
- All deserts are hot (Antarctica actually is a desert!)
