Hey y’all I’m back from Alaska 😀
I saw a bunch of seals and sea otters on a boat tour, also humpback whales (if you count seeing one blowing through it’s blowhole and it’s back/tail fluke as seeing some) and b i g sea lions (they are much bigger than you’d expect oml it’s terrifying)
Also I saw glacier calving, which is when ice breaks off of the edge of a glacier and falls into the water. (it’s completely natural, not some global warming phenomenon or something.)
So it was great, and I recommend going, but fair warning: the weather is going to be rough soooo um prepare- bring a light jacket, a sweater (I personally recommend a turtleneck, one that doesn’t get lint everywhere), or other warm, comfy gear.

I spent a ton of time playing Super Smash Bros. on that trip (as evidenced by my SSB-themed graphic for my last blog), so I ended up getting story inspiration, animation inspiration, and other stuff.
Also Sephiroth sucks.

yes yes I love Cloud he is definitely better than Sephiroth in every way
