Hey everyone! Sorry if this blog is later than usual, I was too busy playing Super Mario (one of my least favorite Nintendo games to play)and lost track of time.
But anyway, I’m here to talk about a common thing a person searches up about dead people: their last words. Why do people want to search them up?
Well, there are a collection of different reasons why. First of all, the last words can be inspirational, sad, and pretty wholesome to hear. For example, the famous singer James Brown had his last words being “I’m going away tonight” and Derek Jarman (a famous artist and gay rights activist) has some sad last words being “I want the world to be filled with white fluffy duckies”. The last words of a person can make a person intrigued and kinda melancholy when hearing it.
…but that isn’t the case with every person, as this entry shows.
The first reason why I don’t like searching up last words is something I have already mentioned: they usually are very sad. I don’t want a reminder that this person is already dead and everything! It makes me wonder about death and keeps me up at night! And I hate wondering about death!!
The second reason is a bigger one that I also have mentioned: the last words can sometimes not be that memorable. Heck, sometimes the last words can change how you view those people in a drastic way! Want some examples? Well, look no further than the man, the myth, the legend: Freddie Mercury.
The former lead singer of Queen had a recognizable voice that sang songs like Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are The Champions which to this day are songs that have been plastered to the front board of the best songs in the 1970s. So as great as the guy is, what are is most commonly reported last words?
“Pee, pee!”
… Yeah, I’ll just end it here.
See you all next week! This blog may become a podcast episode, so stay tuned!
