Hey everyone, I’m back.

So. It’s that time of year again. Halfway through the year, and Girl Scout Camp time. A camp that tends to be fun but a little bit overwhelming.

So, this year I went back to Camp Silverbrook. No Chinook this year, unfortunately. Also, this year I only came to camp for half the week as I was otherwise occupied.

However, that didn’t mean nothing happened this week. A lot happened, actually. And I kind of want to say something.

So my first day was on Wednesday. I was assigned to Kitchen to help with camp food prep. Kitchen basically prepares food for camp lunches and Cook Station, where campers can make food.

Kitchen is busy, and that day was no exception. It was a lot of work until the last few hours, which usually become chill and just bagging lunches for the next day. It’s kind of fun, especially since instructions are given quickly (I get confused without instructions and just. Stand there until someone tells me what to do lol).

Well, I had an apron in Cook Station. An old Starbucks apron. I don’t know how the supervisor got it, but…okay.

I wore that for a part of my shift. It was an apron, after all. I even made jokes to the PAs and CITs that came in, like, “Welcome to Starbucks” and stuff like that.

Then, at some point, some 4th/5th graders came in for Cook Station. They looked at me and asked if I worked at Starbucks. I panicked and gave them a thumbs up.

One of the girls immediately said: “Clock it!!” and one of them asked me to make them a pink drink.

I panicked and said yes, again.

Now I am aware that you can order a pink drink without caffeine (I did not know what a pink drink was at the time of the ask). But I did see a lot of kids with Starbucks. I hope we aren’t giving kids caffeine. Please consider this.

Also, a lot of the younger kids I saw knew about 67 and said it a lot, among other internet slang. I do hope that they only heard that from other campers/people and they do NOT have internet access at such a young age.

Maybe YouTube Kids’s algorithim sucks though, I don’t know.

In any case just be cautious please.

Also I have heard 67 so many times SERIOUSLY and NOT as a joke I WILL EXPLODE STOP THIS MADNESS

OK that’s it

Don’t worry I’ll make more Eurovision content next week 🙂
