Hey everyone and welcome!
So, you’ve probably seen my two previous blogs about Eurovision 2026 songs (If you haven’t don’t read them yet). And I’ve FINALLY listened to EVERY Eurovision song from this year. I even have a solid top 5!
However, looking for anything Eurovision is hard. Because people tend to hate on songs ON THE VIDEO OF THE SONG.
I understand having an opinion, but can we not put hate on videos where you know fans will be to enjoy the song? Even worse if you REPLY to someone’s comment on HOW THEY LIKE THE VIDEO with “oooh I hate this song” or “this song sucks!!”
Can we not do that??? Please?
In any case, I got so annoyed at seeing hate that I’m going to say something good about almost every Eurovision performance from this year. YES. YOU HEARD THAT.
So we’re going to get into that.
Songs are going to be ranked by their final ranking in the contest!
If you haven’t read the past blogs, try and see if you can guess my favorites and least favorite from what I say. If you have, try and see if the rankings have changed, and which ones I like and not!
The only rules? It has to be specific TO THE SONG OR ITS STAGE PERFORMANCE, and it can’t be sarcastic.
Lets go be postitive!
BANGARANGA – DARA
The staging and energy for this song is impeccable. The room rotating and moving like a music video?? Straight peak. And the dancers never tire. Woah.
CHOKE ME – ALEXANDRA CĂPITĂNESCU
ALEXANDRA IS SO COOL!!! Her being able to do the opera part after her normal singing, and the way she sings the “do what I say and don’t you ever betray me” bit…Coolness. Amazing vocals.
ECLIPSE – DELTA GOODREM
I like how the staging goes from a moon and darker, silver staging to bright gold as the song progresses and gets more energetic. Like an eclipse–hey look, it’s the title!
PER SEMPRE SI – SAL DA VINCI
Sal is so happy onstage!! The whole story in the background of the song and his joy is contagious. He’s so happy the whole time he’s singing…that kind of energy is amazing. You can’t help but smile.
LIEKINHEITIN – LINDA LAMPENIUS AND PETE PARKKONEN
Linda played the violin so well! And Pete hit that high note PERFECTLY every time. These two performed their song so so well; their stage presence is impeccable.
FØR VI GÅR HJEM – SØREN TORPEGAARD LUND
Søren is SUCH A DIVA GODFATHER PRESERVE US. His stage presence COMMANDS ATTENTION, and his VOICE??? HELLO?? That HIGH NOTE. And he can dance. He knows he left no crumbs. We all love Søren.
VIVA, MOLDOVA – SATOSHI
This song is so…hype. How do I describe it. Satoshi and the other girls (I don’t know their names!! Why can’t I find their names…they did so good…) have such amazing energy and perform the song well. I know have the area code for Moldova (373) ingrained into my brain.
(Also I love the “in vino veritas”. Latin. Good. Yes.)
RIDNYM – LELÉKA
I love Leléka so much. She can hit a 30 second note?? As someone who did Choir. Respect. Infinite respect. That girl’s vocal ability…wooooooooooooowww.
FERTO – AKYLAS
This man is a vibe. His hat is amazing. And he’s so fun! Thia man uses a scooter mid performance! He’s like a cartoon character in the best way possible. This man is dancing and nails the ballad part…I love Akylas. Oakfather preserve me.
REGARDE ! – MONROE
MONROE IS 17 AND HITTING THOSE OPERA NOTES??!?!??!? WOAHHHHHH. Her voice is so so amazing!! She has so much control over her voice and it’s amazing. I’m very amazed and full of amazement. /ref
PRAY – ALICJA
Alicja has such a good voice, and she shows that throughout her whole song! Her final “PRAY” at the end is AMAZING, and she’s so confident onstage. Absolute queen.
NÂN – ALIS
The screen staging is beautiful. The clock, and the wings especially. I love how Alis’s outfit is themed around his wings…and the watch connecting to the clock on the ground with the time? Yeah, this song is packed with meaning. It’s glorious.
YA YA YA – JONAS LOVV
I didn’t even know he had laryngitis while performing. His voice is still amazing! His power when he sings “I KNOW IT WON’T LET GOOOOO” is THERE and GREAT, laryngitis or not. Jonas has a great voice.
ANDROMEDA – LELEK
Okay, the title is from a Greek myth (As in, the Andromeda from Perseus and Andromeda. The daughter of Callisto and Cepheus from Ethiopia). Peak. Amazing. Also the song and setup being a representation of Croatia’s history is beautiful. This whole song exudes POWER. I love it.
CROSSROADS – DANIEL ŽIŽKA
Daniel has an AMAZING voice. His final “CROOOOOOSSSSROOOOOOADS” is perfect, and his vocal riffs throughout are perfect as well. He’s got good lungs.
KRAJ MENE – LAVINA
The entire band did so good! They kept up their energy instead of having Luka carry the whole show, and them being in sync the whole time was amazing, especially during the scream part where Pavle starts banging his head after getting off keyboards. They have such an aura about them onstage…I love them all so much.
BELLA – AIDAN
Aidan did so well performing! The part where the rose tornado comes up and he starts spinning and singing in Maltese…I have no words…also this song hits my brain the right way when he sings it here…”I’ll keep holding onto you, after all this time it’s you and only you”? Perfect. Also rose tornado. I like. Yes.
JALLA – ANTIGONI
This song is SO CATCHY. It’s been stuck in my head for so long. “OPA ELA JALLA”!!! It’s basically impossible for me to not at least vibe to this song. I’d probably dance to it for whimsy.
MY SYSTEM – FELICIA
This song sounds like animation meme material (compliment)! Felicia did so well during this performance, whether it was playing/interacting with the lasers or her long note in about the middle when the backing vocals go “‘Cause now you’re in my head, my heart”. Love the queen and her veil/goggles flip.
DANCING ON THE ICE – ESSYLA
This song is a bop and I love the staging. The snow, and the screen split with orange and blue? Contrasting colors! Amazing!!
I just love the snow. Snow is magical. And it works well for a song about dancing on ice, where everything dies, frozen to the bone. /lyr /ref
SÓLO QUIERO MÁS – LION CECCAH
This silver man performed very well. The staging was simplistic but AMAZING, from the smoke and the outfit at the beginning. The image in the back reminded me kind of of Transformers. Also his robotic movements were satisfying to watch.
FIRE – SARAH ENGELS
Sarah was so full of energy during her performance! And the other girls were so good and energetic while dancing, also the song is an earworm.
I’m on fire fire! You’re a liar liar! Stop denying-nying to lying-lying no more! Like. The rhyming scheme works well here. Love it.
TANZSCHEIN – COSMÓ
Cosmó’s deep voice is so pleasing to the ear!! He sings so well, the animal motif is fun, love the star makeup, and of course…the dance is so fun. It’s simple but it’s pleasing. Like the Macarena, kind of.
You need a Tanzschein.
EINS, ZWEI, DREI – LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER
Sam is so funny. This song is so silly and fun! I love it. Sam has this kind of crazy scientist energy, but the crazy scientist is your neighbor. I don’t know if that makes sense. But in a good way. He built the props for staging himself?? Woahhh.
ALICE – VERONICA FUSARO
I love the ropes in the staging to carry the song’s meaning. Veronica has an amaaaazing voice, and she spells Alice so perfectly with the rope?? Huh? Howww.
She also has an amazing stage presence, and she delivered the song very very well.
TOO EPIC TO BE TRUE – VANILLA NINJA
These girls did so well. They performed the song with great energy. The song with its bright colors and white outfits was kind of nostalgic! These girls were happy to be here and it was amazing.
ROSA – BANDIDOS DE CANTE
Harmonies are hard. VERY hard. And these five guys do a five part harmony?? Amazing. The song is gentle and I do like the rose themed staging. It is called Rosa, after all. Kind of sounds like Slime Rancher music. /pos
NOVA ZORA – TAMARA ŽIVKOVIĆ
Montenegro did so good this year! I love the outfits and the song, and the wild, kind of witch feel to the song. I know the song is about women power and rebirth, and the song does a great job of carrying that energy with how the song sounds. They all performed so well, and Tamara performed so well.
MOTHER NATURE – EVA MARIJA
This song is so beautiful, and the violin part is amazing! The blooming mic stand, the effects are all amazing and contribute to the song well. Eva gives Disney princess, like the old ones, the good ones. Love her and her joy.
ĒNĀ – ATVARA
Atvara has such a beautiful voice, and I love the broken glass motif in her outfit and the glass shards! It feels magical. I have no woeds, her long “oooooOOOOOOOOOOOO” is beautiful. SO beautiful. I’m a sucker for when the singer stands in the center of spinning objects, and this was no exception.
PALOMBA RUMBA – SIMÓN
I love the Post-it jacket and the run at the end. This performance was so energetic and hype. The dance break was amazing!!
SUPERSTAR – SENHIT
The staging for this performance has so much color, and the egg is amazing! I just love the color. It kind of gives disco. I love it.
ON REPLAY – BZEKEBI
The keyboard dance for this song is so so fun. Also the part with the vocal splicing is honestly my favorite part. Amazing.
JUST GO – JIVA
I like the switch to Azeri at the end and the tear makeup! It fits the song very very well.
And that’s BASICALLY EVERY SONG. DONE. POSITIVITY. LOVE. YAY.
I loved this year’s songs. Probably going to be streaming them all summer…yaaaay new music!
That’s the whole blog! I hope you enjoyed it 🙂
