So I’d like to talk about Halloween as a whole. Because there’s a lot.
I ASSUME SPIRIT HALLOWEEN IS FINE
I did not go this year because I value my life and sleep (my life more), and I am not going back in there lol
Especially since I saw the Freddy animatronic in there in a video. NOPE IM NOPING OUT OF THERE REAL QUICK
On a similar note WHY ARE WE MAKING THEM REAL

LYCANTHROPES
A lycanthrope is basically a werewolf.
Aaaand obviously I’m gonna be talking about Roman mythology here. I love mythology, after all.
I did a blog about Lycaon a while back. However, I do have more to add.
In some stories, a son of Lycaon was indeed killed. That son was Nyctimus. However, in some sources, out of Lycaon’s fifty sons, Nyctimus was spared by Jove. The other sons were struck with thunderbolts, and Lycaon turned into a wolf.
However, in the ensuing Great Flood, Nyctimus was killed. So. That sucks for him.
The bloodline also ends here, since Callisto and Arcas are turned into bears.
I find it interesting that the origin of werewolves specifically begins with cannibalism. FUN!
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
It seems like costumes nowadays are getting lazier. Which is sad. Halloween is supposed to be have fun, do whatever you want.
The “cringe” kids in my class have the best costume ideas and plans for Halloween. They put the most effort into it. When did this get worse?
Why are the costumes so bad now. Why are we devolving.
But yeah, that’s all I have to say.
