As we head towards the end of summer, I have continued exploring and reading several interesting books. I just finished reading another wonderful book that has been trending all over Tik Tok by one of my favorite authors, Colleen Hoover. Today, I will be reviewing Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. This summer I have read seven books by Colleen Hoover and the book I am reviewing is a new addition to the long list.

Before I start this review, I just want to say that this has a maturity rating and you must be mature enough to read this book. This book covers several harmful and intimate scenes which will start a controversy. So, please read this at your own discretion.

Miles Archer, a young pilot from San Francisco keeps things personal. He wakes up everyday after a tragic incident six years ago feeling regret and promising himself he will never love anyone so he doesnt break anyone’s life and heart. But everything changes when he meets Tate Collins, his best friend’s sister who’s a determined nursing student. Their relationship is complicated, they aren’t in a relationship and they aren’t exactly friends. Tate wonders why Miles is so mysterious and secretive about his past. Miles tells Tate to never ask about his past or expect a future. When they think they can handle their connection without questioning his past or future, Miles starts to reconnect with his past and can’t find a way to move forward.

How will Miles and Tate be able to handle their so-called ‘relationship”? How will Miles move on from his past? Is this true love?

If you’re into books that cover the topics of friendship, relationships, moving on,grief and love, this book is just for you.

As we are growing up and exploring life, Colleen Hoover books might be helpful in understanding different shades of human relationships.
