HALT, adventurer! Before you proceed, the writer of this post has given the order for you to heed a warning, written by none other than the writer herself!

It says as follows: >ahem<

“In this blog post, there are mentions of a game called Baldur’s Gate 3, a game that is unsuitable for children. This is because of the violence, strong language, and sensitive themes the game holds within. Thus, even though the game is mentioned, do not decide to buy it unless you are in your late teens (15+).

If you are 15 years or older, then you must still be wary, adventurer! This blog also contains minor spoilers for Baldur’s Gate 3, specifically for content that is in the second act of the game. If you want your gaming experience to be spoiler-free when traveling through Faerûn if you decide to buy the game, TURN BACK! If you do not care about spoilers, minor or otherwise, you may continue on the path ahead.

Also, I do not own any of the Baldur’s Gate 3 characters listed. They belong to Wizards of the Coast and Larian Studios.”

That is all the writer wishes to say. Now, you may pass to the next frontier, adventurer. Safe travels, ahead!

———————————————————————————————————————

Hey hey, everyone! Once again, I’m back with another post. As you guys may already know, I’m currently playing Baldur’s Gate 3, a D&D-styled video game full of funny characters, thrilling action, and incredible writing! Currently, I’m in the last act of the game, which means I’m close to finishing my current run!

So, in the spirit of that, I decided to do anything…

BESIDES FINISHING THE GAME!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA

But in all seriousness, I love this game so much. And to close the adventure that my favorite characters have gone through seems a bit scary for me to do; I love them all so much!

So, in the spirit of Faerûn’s greatest heroes, I decided to replay one of my other favorite RPGs, but making most of the characters ones from BG3! And that RPG is a little game called Miitopia, one of the first ever games my sister and I have gotten and played on!

So, without further ado, here are quick summaries of the Absolute Adversaries across the strange continent of Miitopia, where they have to stop the evil Dark Lord from stealing the faces of other Mii characters to create a monstrous army to sow terror upon the land! Onward!

Territory 1: Greenhorne

To start of the game, I had to create the hero of the story! Thus, everyone’s favorite princess Shadowheart, the Cautious Cleric, was the first out of all the BG3 companions to be added in the adventure.

For context, each Mii character you create in Miitopia that ends up in your traveling party has a distinct personality that you get to choose (examples include Stubborn, Cool, Laid-Back, and Cautious)! These personalities can help the character when they are in a battle, but can come with downsides (for example, a Mii with the Stubborn Personality have a chance to make an extra attack in battle, but may refuse status buffs or healing from other party members).

They also have a job that is also selectable (examples include Cleric, Chef, Mage, and Warrior)! As you progress further into the game, more job options become available (examples include Scientist, Cat, Princess, and Imp). All of these jobs help the Mii fight and they all have different attacks and ways how they can turn the tide in battle.

As shown above, the Mii version of Shadowheart had a Cautious personality and her job is a cleric! I tried making the Miis I created as accurate as possible to their actual Baldur’s Gate 3 counterparts (Shadowheart is a Cleric in the actual game!)

Of course, not everything has to be completely spot-on (the character limit for names force me to shorten Shadowheart’s name to become Shadowhart I’m sooo sorry girlie), but that’s okay!

I also created three other Miis to help Shadowhart across Greenhorne: Astarion (a Laid-Back Thief), Gale (a Kind Mage) and Lae’zel (a Stubborn Warrior)! Together, the four were able to restore the stolen faces of the citizens of Greenhorne, the king, and the princess!

With the land of Greenhorne saved, our heroes moved onto the next territory: Neksdor!

…buuut then the Dark Lord kidnaped Astarion, Gale, and Lae’zel while also wiping out Shadowheart’s (Shadowhart’s?) cleric magic.

Luckily, thanks to a guardian spirit with the party, Shadowheart (Shadowhart?) was able to become a Pop Star and move on to Neksdor alone (but also with the party’s horse “Scratch”, so I guess she wasn’t that alone lol).

Territory 2: Neksdor

Although the road to Neksdor’s citizens were long, Shadowheart (Shadowhart?) was able to make more party members along the way: Wyll (a Kind Imp), Karlach (an Energetic Warrior), and Minthara (a Cool Scientist).

They first helped a rich lady recover her gold from a rogue genie, who thankfully returned the stolen goods after LOTS of convincing (and by that I mean trying to trap him back in his lamp). But the victory was short-lived, as the Dark Lord took the faces of the citizens of Neksdor and the genie’s. After returning everyone’s faces and defeating hoards of monsters, our heroes begin to travel to the next frontier: The Realm of the Fae!

…where the Dark Lord kidnaps Wyll, Karlach, and Minthara before once again, he wipes out Shadowheart’s (Shadowhart’s?) powers.

With the guardian spirit’s help, Shadowheart (Shadowhart?) becomes a Princess, and mounts back on “Scratch” to arrive at the Realm of the Fae.

Territory 3: Realm of the Fae

u m.

I actually made a promise to myself that before I enter and complete the Realm of the Fae, I have to complete Baldur’s Gate 3 first. So you all have to wait a while for the next part. Sorry!

So what’s the moral of the story? Complete your video games! Even if you kind of don’t want to!

Thus >sigh<, if anyone needs me, I’ll be back in Faerûn.

See you guys next week!
