Hey you guysss

So recently, I got way back into Fire Emblem: Engage. I’ve been into this game for years and it’s not dying. Help

But since Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave came out on the 17th. there was a rerun of the Engage icons on the Switch. However, these icons were only able to be obtained through Nintendo Switch Online.

And of course, I wanted these icons. So I got a quick Nintendo Switch Online membership to grab my favorite character’s icons. I did, but then realized that I could also play the games I had with Online Play. I used this to snag many custom designs in Animal Crossing and also make a crab island.

One of the most notable being Splatoon 2.

See, Splatoon 2 is a game you need multiplayer or a ton of friends to play, and customize gear and such. Of course, you can play the Solo Octarian mode at any time, but you cannot use it to level up.

So, I decided to play a few matches and see if Splatoon was worth it. I’d gotten it during my SSBU phase, during which I really liked Inkling. So I bought the original game, got stuck, and never touched it again.

That is, until now.

I booted up the game and waited for my data to reload (I’d archived it a while back for space). After I got in, I realize how basic as heck my character looked (default everything). So I changed that up and started playing.

Only to remember in the lobby that Splatoon 3 had come out looooong ago, so not many were still around in Splatoon 2. So the lobby took a bit of time to fill up, since you need eight players to start a match. That wasn’t fun.

But when I started playing, it was a lot of things at once.

I was in a lobby with like, level 30 people. And I got smashed into the ground.

However, you just gotta keep playing until you get the good weapons. And you unlock more stuff at level 4, like buffing clothes and the ability to Salmon Run.

Salmon Run is beating up Salmonids for their eggs, specifically Golden Eggs. Don’t die. I don’t know too much about this one so far but I know it’s very aaaaahh. There are many boss Salmonids that have to be defeated differently.

But after a few matches, I’ve become pretty good at Salmon Runs, and won quite a few Versus matches!

Good gear really helps, so keep trying to level up! You gain XP even if you lose. Your team gets points for inking turf, so ink whatever you can, especially near the spawn point! Also kill/splat people you get points :3

My favorite weapons so far have got to be the Splat Roller and Dualies, though I also like the Sniper Gun 🙂 anything with the Rain special is amazing, honestly. It’s great for inking large areas and damaging enemies! The Splat Roller just kills people :3

The solo missions are also super fun though, and a great way to learn how to use things in battles!

I don’t plan to get Splatoon 3 or Raiders, but that could change since I’m having a ton. of fun 🙂 I love my little Inkling guy

Ok bye guys!!
